Activity Cards display system-generated updates inside a contact’s conversation timeline so users can track key actions without leaving the conversation.

Who This Is For / When to Use
Use Activity Cards if you want real-time visibility into opportunities, appointments, Do Not Disturb (DND) changes, and invoices directly within a conversation.


What Are Activity Cards

Activity Cards are internal system messages that appear in the conversation timeline for a contact.

They summarize important actions such as:

  • Opportunity creation or updates

  • Appointment activity

  • DND preference changes

  • Invoice and payment events

These cards are not visible to customers. They are for internal reference only.


Where Activity Cards Appear

Activity Cards appear inline within the contact’s conversation timeline, mixed with messages and system events.

They are timestamped and include a Details link when additional context is available.


Opportunity Activity Cards

Opportunity Activity Cards notify users when an opportunity is created or updated for a contact.

These cards include:

  • Opportunity name

  • Pipeline and stage

  • Creation or update date

  • A Details link to open the opportunity record

This allows users to understand deal context without switching to Pipelines.


Appointment Activity Cards

Appointment Activity Cards appear when an appointment is:

  • Created

  • Rescheduled

  • Updated

Each card shows:

  • Appointment name

  • Scheduled date and time

  • A Details link to view full appointment information

Selecting Details opens the appointment side panel.


Appointment Details View

When Details is selected on an Appointment Activity Card, the appointment details panel opens.

This panel includes:

  • Appointment time and time zone

  • Contact information

  • Appointment owner

  • Calendar and attendees

  • Status


Do Not Disturb (DND) Activity Cards

DND Activity Cards notify users when a contact enables or disables Do Not Disturb preferences.

Separate cards are shown for each channel:

  • Email

  • SMS

  • Calls

These cards help ensure communication compliance and prevent unwanted outreach.


Invoice Activity Cards

Invoice Activity Cards appear when:

  • An invoice is sent

  • A payment is received

Each card includes:

  • Invoice amount

  • Due date or payment confirmation

  • A Details link to view the invoice

This keeps financial activity visible inside the conversation.


Important Notes About Activity Cards

  • Activity Cards are internal only and never shown to contacts.

  • They cannot be replied to like messages.

  • They reflect system actions, not manual notes.

  • Visibility depends on user permissions for the related feature.
