Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this when you want to control when members gain access to course content inside a Membership course, either by delaying access by days or releasing content on a fixed calendar date.

Access the Membership Course Builder

Step 1: Open the Products Library

Navigate to Memberships > Courses, then select Products from the dropdown.

Step 2: Open a Course

Click the course (product) you want to edit.

Create a Sub-Module (Content Group)

Step 3: Add a Sub-Module

Inside the course outline, click + Add Content and select Add Sub-Module.

Step 4: Name and Assign the Sub-Module

In the Add Sub-module modal:

  1. Enter a sub-module name.

  2. Select the Parent Module.

  3. Click Create Sub-module.

Organize Content Within Sub-Modules

Step 5: Move Lessons Into Sub-Modules

Drag and drop lessons, videos, quizzes, or assessments into the appropriate sub-module.

Enable Drip Access on a Sub-Module

Step 6: Open Drip Settings

On the right side of the sub-module row, open the status dropdown and select Drip.

Configure Drip Timing

Option A: Drip by Number of Days

Use this option to release content relative to when a member gains access.

  1. Select Drip Days.

  2. Enter the number of days (for example: 7, 14, 21).

  3. Click Save.

Drip unlocks occur at 12:00 PM (midday) UTC for all timezones.

Option B: Drip on a Specific Date

Use this option when all members should receive access on the same calendar date.

  1. Select Drip Specific Date.

  2. Choose the release date from the calendar.

  3. Click Confirm, then Save.

Verify Drip Status

Step 7: Confirm Drip Is Active

Once configured, the sub-module will display Drip in its status indicator.

Optional: Sort Courses in the Products Library

Sort the Course Library

Use Sort by in the Products view to organize courses by:

  • Newest

  • Oldest

  • Title A–Z

  • Title Z–A

This affects admin visibility only, not member access.
