How to Add a Chat Widget to Your Membership Section

Add a Kyrios chat widget to your Membership area by copying the widget embed code and pasting it into the Membership site’s advanced settings.

What This Does

Adding the chat widget code to Membership settings makes the widget available across Membership pages where site-level code is loaded.

Step 1: Get Your Chat Widget Code

  1. Go to Sites → Chat Widget.

  2. Locate the chat widget you want to use.

  3. Click the three-dot menu and select Edit.

Copy the Widget Code

  1. Inside the widget editor, click Get Code.

  2. In the modal, click Copy to copy the script.

You will paste this code in the Membership settings.

Step 2: Open Membership Site Settings

  1. Go to Memberships → Courses.

  2. From the dropdown, select Settings.

  3. Click Site Details.

Step 3: Add the Chat Widget Code

  1. In Site Details, expand the Advanced section.

  2. Locate the code areas:

    • Custom JS

    • Custom CSS

    • Tracking Code (Header or Footer)

Paste the Code

  • Paste the chat widget script into Custom JS or Tracking Code (Header).

  • Do not modify the script contents.

Step 4: Save Your Changes

  1. Click Save in the top-right corner.

  2. Refresh your Membership site to confirm the widget appears.

Common Issues and Fixes

Chat Widget Does Not Appear

  • Confirm the correct widget code was copied.

  • Ensure the code was pasted into Custom JS or Header Tracking Code.

  • Verify Save was clicked after pasting.

Widget Appears on All Membership Pages

  • This is expected behavior for site-level code.

  • Page-level targeting requires conditional logic inside the script.
