Domain extension suggestions are optional recommendations shown during domain purchase or domain management that allow users to buy additional versions of the same domain name. These suggestions help prevent competitors or third parties from registering similar domains.
Suggestions only appear when relevant extensions are available and can be added or removed before checkout.
How Domain Extensions Work When Buying a New Domain
When purchasing a new domain, Kyrios displays suggested extensions in the confirmation step before payment.
You can:
Select up to three additional domain extensions
See the total combined cost before paying
Add or remove extensions instantly
Complete all purchases in a single checkout
Adding Only Specific Extensions
Users are not required to purchase all suggested extensions. Individual extensions can be added or removed from the list before completing payment.
This allows selective protection based on budget or brand needs.
How Domain Extensions Work for Existing Domains
If a domain is already connected to your Kyrios account, Kyrios may display a “Protect your brand” banner at the top of the domain details page.
Clicking Buy Now opens the same purchase flow, allowing you to:
View available extension suggestions
Add one or more extensions
Purchase them using your wallet balance
