How to Fix the Ad Processing Error

Re-submitting the ad creative forces Facebook to reprocess the ad.

Steps

  1. Open the affected Facebook ad.

  2. Click View Results.

  3. Select Edit (pencil icon) next to the ad creative or content.

  4. On the edit screen, click Update.

This action sends the ad back into Facebook’s review queue.

What Happens After Updating the Ad

After clicking Update:

  • The ad re-enters Facebook’s review process

  • Processing typically completes shortly after

  • The ad should begin running once approved
