This guide is for sales teams and admins who manage deals in Kyrios pipelines and need to update opportunity data, customize views, analyze lost deals, or create invoices and estimates tied to opportunities.

How to Update an Opportunity Status (Open, Lost, Won, Abandoned)

Opportunity status updates control whether a deal is active, closed, or no longer pursued and are used for reporting, filtering, and workflow logic.

  1. Open Opportunities from the left navigation.

  2. Click an opportunity card to open the edit panel.

  3. Select the Status dropdown.

  1. Change the opportunity Status to Lost.

  2. Click the Lost Reason field.

  3. Select an existing reason or type a new one.

  4. Click Create new lost reason if the value does not exist.

  5. Save the opportunity.

How to Delete an Opportunity

Deleting an opportunity permanently removes the deal record but does not delete the associated contact.

  1. Open the opportunity you want to remove.

  2. Click the Delete (trash) icon at the bottom of the panel.

Engagement scores also appear in opportunity tables and exports automatically.

How Invoices and Estimates Stay Linked to Opportunities

  • Creating via workflow also maintains the link.

  • Linked invoices appear inside the opportunity Payments list.
