Delete SEO Site Projects

Deleting an SEO Site Project permanently removes the project, restores the available site quota, and reverses SEO fixes applied through that project.

What Happens When You Delete a Site Project

Deleting a Site Project permanently removes that project from SEO. Kyrios also reverts SEO fixes that were applied through that project. After deletion:

  • The Site Project is permanently deleted.

  • Applied SEO fixes are reverted.

  • The site audit quota is refreshed.

  • The tracking script can be removed from the site.

  • The deleted project cannot be restored.

Benefits of Deleting a Site Project

Deleting a Site Project can help keep the SEO workspace focused on active domains.

Common reasons to delete a Site Project include:

  • Freeing quota when the site limit has been reached.

  • Removing old or inactive domains.

  • Rotating in a new client site or higher-priority property.

  • Reverting auto-applied SEO fixes from a deleted project.

SEO Fixes Rollback

Deleting a Site Project reverts SEO fixes applied through that specific project.

This may include:

  • Funnel path fixes.

  • Blog path fixes.

  • External automated fixes triggered by the project.

  • Metadata changes were applied throughout the project.

Manual edits that were not related to the project’s applied SEO fixes typically remain unchanged.

Common Issues and Fixes

I deleted the wrong Site Project

A deleted Site Project cannot be restored. You can add the domain again as a new Site Project after the quota is restored.

My quota did not update

Refresh the SEO page and check SEO > Settings > Quota Usage.

If the quota still does not update, verify that the deletion completed successfully.

My site still has the tracking script

After deletion, the tracking script may still need to be removed from the site manually.
