Accessing a WordPress Site in Kyrios

Each WordPress site in Kyrios opens into a management dashboard with tabs for Info, Users, Plugins, Themes, Backups, Activity Logs, and Advanced Settings.

Live and Staging Access

Staging Environment

A staging environment is used for testing changes before publishing them live.

Steps:

  1. Open the site.

  2. Navigate to the Info tab.

  3. In Staging Access, click Create Environment.

Once created, Kyrios displays the staging URL, admin access, and a Publish button to push changes to live.

Live Access

Live Access provides direct links to the production WordPress site and admin dashboard.

  • WordPress URL

  • WordPress Admin URL

One-Click WordPress Admin Access

Kyrios provides SSO access to the WordPress admin.

Click WP Admin from the top-right of the site dashboard to log in without credentials.

Managing Domains

Viewing Domains

Domains connected to a WordPress site are managed from the Info tab.

Domain Actions

Each domain includes actions for:

  • DNS Configuration

  • Changing prefix to www

  • Deleting the domain

Importing an Existing WordPress Website

You can migrate an existing WordPress site into Kyrios using a .wpress file.

Steps:

  1. Install the All-in-One WP Migration plugin on your existing site.

  2. Export the site as a .wpress file.

  3. Upload the file in Import Your Existing Website.

User Management

Viewing Users

Manage WordPress users and roles from the Users tab.

Adding a User

Steps:

  1. Click Add User.

  2. Enter user details.

  3. Assign a role.

  4. Save the user.

Deleting a User

When deleting a user, you must choose how existing content is handled.

Options:

  • Attribute content to another user

  • Delete all content

Plugins and Themes

Plugins

Manage installed plugins and automatic updates from the Plugins tab.

Themes

Activate, deactivate, and update WordPress themes from the Themes tab.

Backups and Restore

Automated Backups

Kyrios automatically creates daily backups stored for a fixed retention period.

Manual Backups

You can create manual backups on demand.

Steps:

  1. Click Backup Now.

  2. Name the backup.

  3. Select files, database, or both.

  4. Create the backup.

Advanced Settings

FTP Access

FTP access allows direct file management.

Steps:

  1. Open Advanced Settings.

  2. Select FTP Access.

  3. Add an FTP user.

SSH Access

Secure SSH access is available for server-level operations.

SSH keys can be uploaded and managed securely.

Cache Management

Clear cached content to ensure updated pages are served.

WordPress Debugging

Enable or disable WordPress debugging for development and troubleshooting.

Database Management (phpMyAdmin)

Database access is available through phpMyAdmin with confirmation safeguards.

Once confirmed, phpMyAdmin opens in a new window.

PHP Version Management

Select and confirm the PHP version used by the site.

WordPress Core Management

Configure WordPress core behavior from WordPress Management.

Auto Update WordPress Core

Choose whether WordPress updates automatically.

Discourage SEO Indexing

Prevent search engines from indexing the site during development.

Deleting a WordPress Site

Deleting a site permanently removes all files, database content, and domains.

Confirmation is required before deletion.
