What “Customize for Each Channel” Does
When enabled, this option allows you to:
Write different text per social platform.
Upload different images or videos per platform.
Preview how each post will appear before publishing.
Each platform’s content is edited independently.
Step 1: Open Social Planner
Go to Marketing from the left sidebar.
Click Social Planner.
Click + New Post in the top-right corner.
Step 2: Create a New Post
Click + New Post.
Select Create New Post from the dropdown menu.
Step 3: Select Social Accounts
Click the Post to field.
Select two or more social accounts.
The customization option only appears when multiple channels are selected.
Step 4: Enable “Customize for Each Channel”
Toggle Customize for each channel to ON.
Confirm the toggle when prompted.
Each platform will now have its own editable content and media.
Step 5: Switch Between Channels
Use the platform icons (Google, Facebook, Instagram) to switch between channels.
Each tab represents a different platform’s version of the post.
Step 6: Write Platform-Specific Content
Type content into the editor for the selected platform.
Watch the character limit displayed for that channel.
Repeat for each platform tab.

Character limits are enforced per channel when customization is enabled.
Step 7: Add Images or Videos Per Channel
Switch to a platform tab.
Upload images or videos for that platform.
Repeat for other platforms.
Each channel can have different media.
Previewing Customized Posts
The Post Preview panel updates based on the selected platform.
This lets you confirm layout, text, and media before posting.
Media Optimization (Optional)
If enabled, Media Optimization automatically adjusts media for the selected platform’s requirements.
Posting or Scheduling
After reviewing each platform:
Click Post to publish immediately, or
Click Save for later to schedule.
Important Notes About Customization
Media is removed if you switch platforms while uploading.
Turning off customization applies the active platform’s content to all channels.
Disabling customization shows a warning before removing platform-specific content.
Video thumbnails must be re-added if interrupted.
Common Issues and Fixes
Customization Toggle Is Missing
Select at least two social accounts.
Media Disappeared
Ensure uploads finish before switching platforms.
Do not toggle customization during uploads.
Lost Custom Content
Disabling customization removes platform-specific edits after confirmation.
