Who This Is For / When to Use

Use the Content Library if you:

  • Reuse the same sections across proposals, contracts, or agreements.

  • Want consistent pricing tables, signature sections, or disclaimers.

  • Manage documents across multiple teams or locations.

  • Need to scale document creation without manual copy-paste errors.

What the Content Library Is

The Content Library is a reusable content system inside the Documents & Contracts editor.

It allows you to save:

  • Individual content blocks (for example, pricing sections or signature tables).

  • Entire document pages.

Saved items can be reused in any document or template using drag-and-drop.

What You Can Save

You can save the following to the Content Library:

  • Pricing tables

  • Signature sections

  • Legal disclaimers

  • Branded layout sections

  • Entire document pages

Each saved item is stored independently and does not change existing documents when reused or deleted.

How to Save Content to the Content Library

Save a Block

  1. Open a document or template in the editor.

  2. Hover over the block you want to save.

  3. Click Add to Content Library.

  4. Enter a clear, descriptive name.

  5. Click Save.

Save a Full Page

  1. Open a document or template in the editor.

  2. Click the menu in the top-right corner of the page.

  3. Select Add to Content Library.

  4. Enter a descriptive name.

  5. Click Save.

How to Reuse Saved Content

  1. Open a new or existing document or template.

  2. In the left sidebar, open Content Library → Custom.

  3. Drag and drop the saved block or page into the document.

The inserted content is editable and does not affect the original saved item.

How to Share Content Across Locations

  1. Go to Documents & Contracts → Templates → Content Library.

  2. Find the item you want to share.

  3. Click the menu next to the item.

  4. Select Share.

  5. Choose the locations you want to share with.

The content becomes available in those locations without overwriting existing items.

How Deleting Content Works

  • Deleting an item removes it from your current Content Library view.

  • It does not:

    • Remove content from documents already created or sent.

    • Delete the item from other locations it was shared with.

Common Issues and Fixes

I dragged the wrong content into a document

Delete or replace the inserted block or page. The original saved item is not affected.

I updated a block but other documents didn’t change

Saved items do not auto-update existing documents. Reinsert the updated version if needed.

FAQ

Can I update a saved content block later?

Yes. Edit the content, save it again to the Content Library, and reuse the updated version. Existing documents will not change automatically.

Will sharing content overwrite content in other locations?

No. Shared items are added to the other location’s Content Library without affecting existing content.

Is there a limit to how many blocks or pages I can save?

There is no enforced limit. Use clear naming conventions to keep the library easy to manage.

Can I remove a saved item from the Content Library?

Yes. Open the Content Library, click the menu next to the item, and select Delete.

If I delete a library item, will it disappear from documents already sent?

No. Deleting a library item only removes it from future use. Existing documents remain unchanged.

Can I organize saved content into folders or categories?

No. The Content Library does not support folders or categories. Use consistent naming to keep items easy to find.

Can I use Content Library items across templates and teams?

Yes. Content can be shared across locations from Documents & Contracts → Templates → Content Library using the Share option.

What types of content can I save?

You can save individual blocks or entire pages from documents or templates.
