What Is GoKollab

GoKollab is Kyrios’ marketplace integration for communities and courses.

GoKollab Marketplace Overview

The GoKollab Marketplace allows users to browse communities and courses by category and access type.

  • Supports free and paid listings

  • Displays member count and visibility status

  • Enables direct enrollment or joining


Activate GoKollab for Your Account

Step 1: Open GoKollab Marketplace

  1. Go to Memberships → GoKollab Marketplace.

  2. Click Activate Now.

This enables marketplace access for your account.


Select Communities for Marketplace Visibility

Once activated, you choose which communities appear publicly.

  1. Open Memberships → GoKollab Marketplace.

  2. Select the Community tab.

  3. Check the communities you want to list.

  4. Click Save.

Only selected communities are eligible for discovery.


Visibility Rules for Communities

For a community to appear on the Discover page:

  • Discovery must be enabled

  • The community must have at least 10 members

  • The community must be selected in the marketplace

Communities below the threshold remain private.


Access a Community’s Settings

To manage an individual community:

  1. Go to Memberships → Communities → Groups.

  2. Click Login on the community card.


Open Community Settings

Inside the community:

  1. Select a channel from the left sidebar.

  2. Click Settings on the right panel.


Enable Discovery for a Community

  1. In Group Settings, select Discovery.

  2. Toggle Discovery ON.

  3. Click Save.

This makes the community eligible for GoKollab discovery.


Customize the Community About Page

The About page helps users decide whether to join.

You can add:

  • Text descriptions

  • Images and videos

  • Clear purpose and value

Best practice: keep content specific and focused for better AI category matching.


How Categories Are Assigned

  • GoKollab uses AI to assign categories automatically

  • Categories are based on the group name and description

  • Clear, descriptive content improves accuracy


Create a New Community in GoKollab

If you don’t already have a community:

  1. Click Create Your Free Community.

  2. Create or log in to your GoKollab account.

  3. Enter group name and description.

  4. Click Create Group.

New users can sign up directly using:

  • Google sign-in

  • Email and password


Manage Community Subscriptions

To configure free or paid access:

  1. Open Group Settings.

  2. Select Subscriptions.

  3. Choose Free or add pricing.

  4. Click Save.


List Membership Courses on GoKollab

Add a Course to the Marketplace

  1. Go to Memberships → GoKollab Marketplace.

  2. Open the Courses tab.

  3. Click Add Course.

  4. Select a course.

  5. Set pricing, billing period, and trial days.

  6. Click Add Course.


Manage Listed Courses

From the Courses tab, you can:

  • Add or remove courses from discovery

  • Adjust pricing models

  • Control visibility without editing the course itself


View Enrolled Courses

Users can access enrolled courses from:

  • My Courses in the GoKollab menu

  • The direct courses page


In-App Chat in GoKollab

GoKollab includes built-in messaging between members.

Capabilities:

  • Start chats with shared community members

  • View all conversations in one panel

  • Receive instant message notifications


Active Chat View

Conversations open in a side panel without leaving the community view.

  • Messages update in real time

  • Media and emojis supported

  • Thread stays attached to the community


In-App Notifications

Notifications keep users informed about:

  • Mentions

  • Replies

  • Likes

  • Community activity

Access notifications from the top-right icon.


Payments and Stripe Integration

Paid communities and courses use Stripe.

Key points:

  • Stripe is required for paid access

  • Payment settings are managed in Group Settings → Subscriptions
