What Invoice Email Templates Are
Invoice Email Templates control the email content sent for invoice-related events.
You can:
Preview default invoice notification templates.
Edit and save customized versions.
Apply templates to both customer and team notifications.
Templates are managed from Invoice Settings and can also be edited at send time.
Accessing Invoice Email Template Settings
Steps
Go to Payments > Invoices.
Click Settings in the top-right corner.
Open Notifications.
A preview of the email template appears next to each notification type.
Editing Default Invoice Email Templates
From the Notifications section, you can update the default templates.
Locate the notification you want to edit.
Click the template preview or edit option.
Update text, buttons, or layout as needed.
Save your changes.
Changes apply to future invoice notifications using that template.
Creating New Email Templates
You can create reusable email templates outside the invoice module.
Steps
Go to Marketing > Emails > Templates.
Create a new email template.
Save the template.
Once created, the template becomes available for invoice notifications.
Using Templates When Sending Invoices
You can preview and edit the email template at the time of sending.
One-Time Invoices
Create an invoice.
Click Send.
Review the selected email template.
Click Edit to make changes if needed.
Recurring Invoices
When scheduling a recurring invoice:
The send modal shows the email template preview.
You can edit the template before confirming the schedule.
Edits made here apply only to that invoice instance.
Supported Notification Types
Invoice Email Templates support up to 10 notification types, including:
Customer invoice notifications.
Internal team notifications.
Each notification type can have its own customized template.

Template Changes Not Applying
Confirm you saved the template.
