How to Create and Use SMS and Email Templates in Kyrios

SMS and Email templates (Snippets) let you save reusable messages and insert them quickly into workflows, conversations, and bulk actions.

Use this when you frequently send similar SMS or email messages and want faster, more consistent communication without using the Email Builder.


What Are SMS and Email Templates (Snippets)

Snippets are saved message drafts that can be reused across Kyrios.

They are available in:

  • Workflows

  • Conversations (1:1 messaging)

  • Bulk SMS and bulk email actions


How to Create an SMS or Email Template

Step 1: Open Snippets

Navigate to Marketing > Snippets.


Step 2: Add a New Snippet

  1. Click New Snippet.

  2. Choose Add SMS Snippet or Add Email Snippet.


Step 3: Configure the Template

Enter the required details:

  • Name

  • Subject (email only)

  • Snippet Body

Use the editor to format text and insert custom values if needed.
A live preview appears on the right.


Step 4: Save the Template

Click Save to make the snippet available across Kyrios.


How to Use Templates in Workflows

Step 1: Open a Workflow

Navigate to Automations > Workflows and open an existing workflow or create a new one.


Step 2: Add or Edit a Send Message Action

  1. Add an Email or SMS action.

  2. Select Select Existing Template.

  3. Choose your saved snippet.


Step 3: Save the Action

Click Save Action to apply the template to the workflow.


How to Use Templates in Conversations (1:1)

Step 1: Open Conversations

Navigate to Conversations and open a contact thread.


Step 2: Insert a Template

  1. Click the Snippet icon in the message composer.

  2. Search for and select your SMS or email template.

  3. Edit the message if needed.

  4. Send.


How to Use Templates in Bulk Actions

Step 1: Select Contacts

Navigate to Contacts and select one or more contact records.


Step 2: Choose a Bulk Action

Click Send Email or open More > Send SMS / Send Email.


Step 3: Select a Template

  1. Choose Select Existing Template.

  2. Pick your saved snippet.

  3. Review the message.


Step 4: Confirm and Send

Confirm the recipient list and proceed to send the bulk action.


How to Edit an Existing Template

  1. Go to Marketing > Snippets.

  2. Click the snippet you want to update.

  3. Make changes to the name, subject, or body.

  4. Click Save.
