Who This Is For / When to Use

  • Want to credit affiliates for non-tracked leads

  • Need to manually associate a lead with an affiliate campaign

  • Are onboarding affiliates with existing contacts

What Does “Adding Leads” Mean in Affiliate Manager?

Adding leads manually allows you to associate a contact with an affiliate and campaign without using an affiliate link.

Important behavior:

  • Manually added leads do not include purchase history

  • Leads are tracked for attribution and reporting only

  • Commissions apply only if a qualifying sale later occurs

Important Notes Before You Start

  • There is no system email sent when a lead is manually added

  • Affiliates only receive system emails when a campaign is published/live

  • Manual lead creation is separate from automated affiliate workflows
