How to Edit an Ad Campaign

You can edit active Google, Facebook, and Instagram ad campaigns from the Advertise page, but edits should be avoided during the AI learning period.

Use this article when you need to make changes to an existing ad campaign.

Important: Editing During the AI Learning Period

Kyrios AI Ads use a learning phase to optimize performance.

Recommendation

  • Do not edit campaigns for at least 12 days after launch

  • Editing too early can:

    • Reset learning

    • Delay optimization

    • Reduce performance accuracy

Only edit during this period if changes are critical.

What You Can Edit

From the campaign settings screen, you can:

  • Increase or decrease daily budget

  • Edit targeting

  • Update creative content

  • Pause the campaign

All edits are made from the same campaign page.

How to Edit an Ad Campaign

Step 1: Open the Advertise Page

  1. Click the Rocket icon to open Advertise

Step 2: Select the Campaign

  1. Click the campaign you want to edit

Step 3: Make Your Edits

  1. Click the pencil (edit) icons next to:

    • Budget

    • Targeting

    • Content

  2. Make your changes and save

Where You’ll See Campaign Status

  • Campaign status appears at the top of the settings panel

  • Example statuses include Active or Campaign Paused

Common Issues and Fixes

I Can’t Edit Certain Fields

  • Some fields may be restricted during optimization

  • Try pausing the campaign if changes are required immediately

My Performance Dropped After Editing

  • Editing resets part of the learning phase

  • Allow several days for re-optimization

I Only Want to Change Budget

  • Budget changes can be made directly from the campaign settings

  • Budget edits still affect learning, but less than creative changes
