Facebook Pixel Not Showing in Conversion Goals

If your Facebook Pixel exists in Meta Business Manager but does not appear when selecting a conversion goal, the pixel is not assigned to the correct ad account.

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use this article if:

  • Your Facebook (Meta) Pixel exists in Business Manager

  • The Pixel does not appear when selecting a Conversion Goal

  • You are running Meta ads through Kyrios AI Ads Manager

  • Conversion tracking cannot be selected or enabled

This issue is almost always caused by a missing asset assignment.

Why This Happens

Facebook Pixels must be explicitly assigned to an ad account in Meta Business Manager.

If the Pixel is not connected to the ad account:

  • It will appear in Business Settings

  • But it will not appear as an available conversion source

Kyrios can only detect Pixels that Meta has correctly linked to the selected ad account.

How to Fix: Assign the Pixel to the Ad Account

Follow these steps inside Meta Business Manager:

Step 1: Open Business Settings

  1. Go to Business Manager β†’ Settings
    https://business.facebook.com/settings

Step 2: Open Data Sets

  1. From the left-hand menu, select Data Sources

  2. Click Data sets

Step 3: Assign Assets

  1. Select the correct Pixel

  2. Click Assign Assets

Step 4: Select the Ad Account

  1. Choose the correct Ad Account

  2. Confirm the assignment

Once assigned, the Pixel becomes available for conversion tracking.

Refresh the Connection in Kyrios

After assigning the Pixel:

  1. Go to Connect Platforms in Kyrios

  2. Open the Facebook (Meta) connection

  3. Reconnect the account to refresh permissions and data

This forces Kyrios to pull the updated Pixel-to-ad-account mapping.

Common Issues and Fixes

Pixel Still Not Showing

  • Confirm you selected the correct Business Manager

  • Verify the Pixel is assigned to the same ad account used in Kyrios

  • Reconnect Facebook in Connect Platforms

Multiple Pixels Exist

  • Ensure the correct Pixel is selected

  • Remove unused or legacy Pixels if necessary

Limited Permissions

  • Confirm you have Admin or Advertiser access to the ad account

  • Pixels will not appear for users without proper permissions
