Updated over 3 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

This article is for Kyrios users who want to reuse an existing workflow setup, preserve an original workflow before making changes, or quickly create variations of an automation.

Use this when you want the same workflow structure applied to new forms, triggers, or automation scenarios.

What Happens When You Duplicate a Workflow

Duplicating a workflow creates an exact copy of the selected workflow, including all triggers, actions, and settings.

The duplicated workflow is created in Draft status and does not run until it is reviewed and published.

The original workflow remains unchanged.

Step 1: Duplicate the Workflow

Workflows can be duplicated directly from the workflow list using the action menu.

Steps

  1. Go to Automation โ†’ Workflows.

  2. Locate the workflow you want to duplicate.

  3. Click the three-dot menu next to the workflow name.

  4. Select Duplicate Workflow.

Step 2: Name and Create the Duplicated Workflow

After selecting Duplicate Workflow, Kyrios prompts you to confirm the new workflow name.

Steps

  1. Review or edit the workflow name.

  2. Click Create.

The duplicated workflow opens automatically in the workflow builder.

Step 3: Review and Publish the New Workflow

Duplicated workflows must be reviewed and published before they can run.

Steps

  1. Update triggers, filters, or actions as needed.

  2. Use Test Workflow if required.

  3. Toggle the workflow from Draft to Publish.

The workflow becomes active only after it is published.
