What the Workflow AI Assistant Does
Workflow AI Assistant provides contextual guidance inside the workflow builder, allowing users to ask questions, generate workflow steps, configure actions, and receive optimization recommendations without leaving the builder.
Where to Find Workflow AI Assistant
Workflow AI Assistant is accessed directly from the workflow builder.
Navigate to Automation β Workflows.
Create a new workflow or open an existing workflow.
In the builder, click the Workflow AI icon in the bottom-left corner.
How to Use Workflow AI Assistant
Start a Conversation
Workflow AI Assistant can be used through quick actions or free-text questions.
Click Build Workflow to let AI generate workflow steps.
Click Assist with Building to receive action and trigger suggestions.
Click How Do I to ask questions about workflows or settings.
Type directly into the chat box to describe what you want to automate.
Build a Workflow with AI
Workflow AI can generate workflow logic based on a goal description.
Describe the workflow outcome in plain language.
Review the suggested triggers and actions.
Confirm suggestions to add them to the workflow.
Workflow AI explains each suggestion so users understand why it is recommended.
Configure AI-Suggested Actions
Suggested actions are added with placement guidance.
Click the + icon next to a suggested action.
The action opens automatically in the configuration sidebar.
Customize settings such as timing, content, or recipients.
Get Optimization and Next-Step Suggestions
Workflow AI analyzes existing workflows and recommends improvements.
Suggests missing actions such as follow-ups or reminders.
Highlights opportunities to streamline workflow steps.

Autosave Behavior with Workflow AI
Workflows created or edited with Workflow AI support Autosave.
When Autosave is enabled in Global Workflow Settings, workflows generated by AI are saved automatically during editing without requiring manual saves.

Clear Chat
Clearing chat resets the conversation so users can start a new request without previous context.
Export Chat
Export Chat downloads the AI conversation for reference, documentation, or team review.
Usage Limits
Each location (sub-account) includes 30 free Workflow AI credits per day.
One credit equals one question or request submitted to Workflow AI.
Credits reset automatically every day.

Common Issues and Fixes
