This update is for sales teams, operators, and admins who create estimates or invoices as part of an active deal and want all financial activity clearly tied to the correct Opportunity without manual tracking.
What Changed: Automatic Linking Between Opportunities and Payments
Kyrios now ensures that every estimate or invoice created from an Opportunity—or triggered by an Opportunity-based workflow—is automatically linked back to that Opportunity, keeping deal context and payment records fully aligned.
This eliminates manual reconciliation and ensures all estimates, invoices, and payments remain visible within the deal lifecycle.
How Automatic Linking Works
Estimates and Invoices Created from an Opportunity
When an estimate or invoice is created directly from an Opportunity’s Payments tab, Kyrios automatically links it to that Opportunity with no additional steps required.
This ensures the estimate or invoice always appears under the correct deal.

Create an Estimate or Invoice Directly from an Opportunity
You can create and automatically link an estimate or invoice directly from an Opportunity using the Payments tab, ensuring the document is always tied to the correct deal.
Steps:
Open the relevant Opportunity.
Click the Payments tab.
Open the Actions menu.
Select Create Estimate or Create Invoice.
Review and send the estimate or invoice.
When created this way, Kyrios automatically links the estimate or invoice to the Opportunity. No manual linking is required.
Linking an Opportunity from the Payments Tab
When creating an estimate or invoice from the Payments area, Kyrios allows manual linking to an Opportunity before sending.
This provides flexibility when starting outside the Opportunity view.
Steps:
Go to Payments.
Use the dropdown to select Estimates or Invoices.
Click Create New.
Select a contact.
Enable Link Opportunity.
Select the correct Opportunity.
Send the estimate or invoice.
Fully Automated Linking via Workflows
When an estimate or invoice is sent through a workflow triggered by an Opportunity event, Kyrios automatically creates, sends, and links the estimate or invoice to that Opportunity.
No manual configuration is required beyond selecting the correct workflow trigger and action.
Supported triggers include:
Opportunity status change
Opportunity stage change
Supported actions include:
Send Estimate
Send Invoice
Once sent, the estimate or invoice appears directly in the Opportunity’s Payments tab.
Where to View Linked Estimates and Invoices
All estimates and invoices linked to an Opportunity are visible in the Payments tab within that Opportunity.
This provides a complete financial view of the deal in one place.

This update was designed to keep estimates, invoices, and payments connected to the sales process, allowing teams to manage deals and revenue tracking from a single, unified location without losing context.
Common Issues and Fixes
Estimate or Invoice Is Not Showing in the Opportunity
Cause: The estimate or invoice was created without linking an Opportunity.
Fix: Create the estimate or invoice from the Opportunity Payments tab or enable Link Opportunity during creation.
Workflow-Created Invoice Not Linked
Cause: The workflow was not triggered by an Opportunity-based trigger.
Fix: Ensure the workflow trigger is an Opportunity event (such as stage or status change).
