Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

  • Account owners setting up the Client Portal for the first time

  • Admins configuring domains, DNS records, or branding

  • Teams troubleshooting unavailable branding settings

Accessing Client Portal Settings

To configure domain and branding settings:

  1. Go to Sites.

  2. Select Client Portal.

  3. Open Settings.

The Client Portal Settings page displays all configuration options in one place.

Domain Setup Overview

The Client Portal requires a domain before branding can be applied. You can use either:

  • A Kyrios-provided subdomain, or

  • Your own custom domain

Until a domain is fully configured, branding settings remain locked.

Using a Default Subdomain

By default, Kyrios provides a subdomain ending in .clientclub.net.

From Domain Setup:

  • Enter your desired subdomain

  • Click Update Domain to save

  • Use the copy icon to copy your Client Portal URL

Using a Custom Domain

You can connect your own domain for a fully branded experience.

Steps:

  1. Open Domain Setup.

  2. Click Custom Domain.

  3. Enter your custom domain name.

Kyrios provides DNS values required to connect your domain.

DNS Records (A Record or CNAME)

To verify a custom domain, configure one of the following at your domain registrar:

  • CNAME Record
    Target value: preview.clientclub.net

  • A Record
    IP address: 34.136.231.88

Configure only one record type, not both. After saving DNS changes, return to Kyrios and click Update Domain.

Domain Setup Pending Status

If DNS is not yet verified, you may see a warning indicating domain setup is pending.

This means:

  • DNS changes have not propagated yet, or

  • Records are missing or incorrect

Branding settings remain unavailable until the domain is verified.

Accessing Branding Settings

Once domain setup is complete:

  1. Open Client Portal Settings.

  2. Click Branding.

Branding controls are unlocked only after successful domain configuration.

Branding Options

The Branding page controls how your Client Portal looks to clients.

You can configure:

  • Portal Name (displayed on login and emails)

  • Portal Description

  • Primary and secondary brand colors

  • Logo

  • Portal image

  • Favicon

All changes apply immediately after saving.

Saving Branding Changes

After completing branding fields:

  1. Review your entries.

  2. Click Save Settings.

Clients will see the updated branding on their next visit or refresh.
