Accessing Blog Settings
Open Sites from the left navigation.
Click Blogs at the top.
In the top-right corner, click the Settings (gear icon).
Opening the Categories Tab
Inside Blog Settings, click the Categories tab.
This section displays all existing blog categories for your account.
Click + Add New Category to create a new category.
Creating a New Blog Category
Click + Add New Category.
In the Add New Category modal, complete the following fields:
Category Label (required)
Alt Text (for SEO) (optional)
Category URL Slug (required)
Category Description (optional)
Upload a Category Image if needed.
Recommended size: 512px Γ 512px
Maximum file size: 10MB
Click Create Category to save.
Managing Existing Categories
View all created categories in the Categories list.
Use the Edit (pencil) icon to update a category.
Use the Delete (trash) icon to remove a category.
Category Visibility Rules
A category appears on your live site only if it contains at least one published blog post.
Categories with only Draft posts remain hidden from visitors.
Deleting a category does not delete blog posts, but posts may need reassignment.

Category not visible on the live site
Confirm that at least one blog post in the category is published.
Cannot see the category in the selection
Ensure the category was successfully created and saved.

If category slugs are used in URLs, deleting a category may affect SEO.
