What the Single Line Layout Does
The Single Line layout:

A maximum of five fields can be used in a single line.
Step 1: Open the Form Builder
Navigate to Sites.
Click Forms.
Open an existing form or click Add Form to create a new one.

You are now inside the Form Builder.
Step 2: Open Form Layout Settings
Click anywhere inside the form.
In the top-right corner, click the Styles / Options (slider) icon.

Step 3: Select the Single Line Layout
Under Layout, locate Layout Type.
Select Single Line.
