Use this action if you want to automatically remove contacts from Facebook Custom Audiences based on lifecycle changes, exclusions, or suppression logic inside a workflow.

Common use cases include:

  • Removing converted leads from retargeting audiences

  • Excluding customers from prospecting ads

  • Cleaning up audiences when a contact reaches a defined status

Prerequisites

Before using this action, ensure the following are complete:

  • A Facebook account is connected to your Kyrios account

  • A Facebook page is selected during the connection process

  • The contact exists in your CRM and entered the workflow through a trigger

Step 1: Create or Open a Workflow

  1. Navigate to Automations → Workflows.

  2. Click Create Workflow, or open an existing workflow.

Step 2: Add a Workflow Trigger

  1. In the workflow builder, click Add New Trigger.

  2. Select and configure the trigger that should enroll contacts into this workflow.

Step 3: Add the Facebook – Remove From Custom Audience Action

  1. Click the + icon below the trigger.

  2. In the Actions panel, search for Facebook or open the Marketing category.

  3. Select Facebook – Remove From Custom Audience.

Step 4: Configure the Action

  1. (Optional) Update the Action Name to change how it appears in the workflow builder.

  2. Click Connect to connect your Facebook account if it is not already connected.

  3. Select the appropriate Facebook page and Custom Audience.

Click Save Action.

Step 5: Save, Test, and Publish the Workflow

  1. Click Save in the top-right corner of the workflow builder.

  2. Use Test Workflow to validate the action.

  3. Toggle the workflow from Draft to Publish when ready.

Common Issues and Fixes

Action does not remove the contact

  • Confirm the contact exists in the selected Facebook Custom Audience.

  • Verify the Facebook account and page connection is active.

  • Ensure the workflow trigger is firing correctly.

Facebook option does not appear

  • Check that the Facebook integration is connected at the account level.

  • Refresh the workflow builder after connecting Facebook.
