Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use Copy Contact if you need to:

  • Distribute leads across multiple accounts

  • Share contacts between teams or departments

  • Maintain separate account data while duplicating contacts

  • Replace webhook-based or third-party contact syncs

What the Copy Contact Action Does

The Copy Contact action creates a duplicate of a contact in a selected target account.

  • The original contact remains unchanged

  • The copied contact becomes a separate record

  • Tags and custom fields can be included optionally

  • Existing contacts in the target account can be updated instead of duplicated

This is a premium workflow action and incurs additional execution charges.

How Contact Matching Works

  • If Update Contact If It Already Exists is OFF, a new contact is created.

  • If it is ON and duplicates are disabled, Kyrios updates the existing contact.

  • Matching is based on contact identity rules configured in the destination account.

  • Each execution is recorded in Workflow Execution Logs

  • Logs show when the action ran and whether it completed successfully

  • Contact history in the destination account reflects the creation or update
