Managing Dashboard Permissions in Kyrios

Dashboard permissions in Kyrios let you control who can view, edit, manage, or fully restrict access to each dashboard, including the ability to keep dashboards private.

Updated over 2 months ago

Who This Is For / When to Use

Use dashboard permissions when you need to share insights with specific roles, allow collaboration on dashboards, restrict sensitive data, or keep dashboards private.

What Dashboard Permissions Control

Dashboard permissions define:

  • Who can view dashboard data

  • Who can edit widgets and layouts

  • Who can manage permissions

  • Who can delete or set dashboards as default

  • Whether a dashboard is private or shared

Permissions are applied at the dashboard level and override general visibility.

Common Issues and Fixes

I can’t see a dashboard

  • Check if the dashboard is set to Private.

  • Confirm your role has at least VIEW permission.

I can edit but not delete a dashboard

  • You likely have EDIT permission. Deleting requires FULL access or ownership.

I don’t see “Manage permissions”

  • Only dashboard owners and users with FULL access can manage permissions.
